단식시그널 개인정보처리방침

시행일: 2026년 10월 16일 (유럽 이용자 권리 추가)

핵심 원칙: 단식·체중·식단 기록은 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다. 회원가입이 없고, 개발자는 서버에 사용자의 기록을 저장하거나 열람하지 않습니다. 기기 밖으로 전송되는 것은 사용자가 직접 요청한 AI 음식 분석 내용, 광고, 결제, 앱 보안 확인에 필요한 정보뿐이며 아래에 모두 적었습니다.

1. 기기에만 저장되는 정보

단식 기록(시작·종료 시각, 목표 시간, 메모)과 단식 일정·루틴
체중, 물 섭취량, 식사 기록(음식 이름, 칼로리, 영양소)
온보딩 답변(목표, 단위, 안전 확인 항목)과 앱 설정, 알림 설정
캐릭터 옷장(착용·구매한 옷), 광고 제거 이용 상태

이 정보는 기기 안의 데이터베이스와 설정 파일에만 저장됩니다. 앱의 더보기 → 모든 기록 지우기로 언제든 삭제할 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다. 이 앱은 기록을 백업하거나 다른 기기로 옮기지 않습니다.

2. AI 음식 분석 (사용자가 직접 요청할 때만)

식단 탭에서 사용자가 AI 분석을 눌러 사진을 찍거나 고르거나 음식 이름을 입력하면, 그 사진 또는 텍스트가 칼로리·영양소 추정을 위해 Google의 Gemini API(Firebase AI Logic)로 전송됩니다. 사용자가 누르지 않으면 아무것도 전송되지 않습니다.

전송되는 것: 해당 사진 또는 입력한 텍스트, 답변 언어. 이름·연락처·단식 기록은 함께 보내지 않습니다.
개발자는 전송된 사진·텍스트나 분석 결과를 서버에 저장하지 않습니다. 결과는 사용자가 저장을 누른 경우에만 기기의 식사 기록에 남습니다.
현재 이 기능은 Gemini API 무료 등급을 사용합니다. Google의 Gemini API 추가 서비스 약관에 따라 Google은 전송된 내용을 자사 서비스와 기술 개선에 사용할 수 있으며, 사람 검토자가 볼 수도 있습니다. 음식 외에 얼굴, 문서, 개인정보가 담긴 사진은 보내지 마세요.
AI 결과는 추정치이며 의학적 조언이 아닙니다.

3. 제3자 서비스

3-1. Google AdMob (광고)

무료 이용 시 배너 광고가 표시됩니다. Google은 광고 제공과 측정을 위해 광고 ID, 기기 정보, IP 기반 대략적 위치, 광고 상호작용 기록을 수집할 수 있습니다. 유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국 등에서는 처음 실행 시 동의 화면이 표시되며, 앱의 더보기 화면에서 광고 개인정보 옵션을 다시 열 수 있습니다. 안드로이드에서는 기기 설정에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다. 아이폰에서는 광고 추적을 허용할지 묻는 Apple의 앱 추적 투명성(App Tracking Transparency) 화면이 표시되며, 허용하지 않으면 광고 식별자(IDFA)가 광고에 쓰이지 않습니다. 이 선택은 아이폰의 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용: Google 파트너 사이트 데이터 사용

3-2. 결제 — Google Play / Apple App Store (광고 제거, 캐릭터 옷)

결제는 안드로이드에서는 Google Play가, 아이폰에서는 Apple App Store가 처리합니다. 개발자는 카드 등 결제 수단 정보를 받지 않고, 구매 여부와 상품 ID만 확인합니다. 이미 산 상품은 앱의 구매 복원 버튼으로 다시 불러올 수 있습니다.

3-3. Firebase (Google)

App Check: AI 기능이 정상적인 앱에서만 호출되도록 앱·기기의 무결성을 확인합니다. 안드로이드는 Google Play Integrity, 아이폰은 Apple App Attest를 사용합니다.
Remote Config: 사용할 AI 모델 이름 같은 설정값을 받아옵니다. 이 과정에서 Firebase 설치 ID가 사용됩니다.
Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics 등 사용 행동 분석 도구는 사용하지 않습니다.

4. 요청하는 권한

알림: 단식 시작·단계·종료, 보식 안내 알림을 정해진 시각에 보내기 위해 (안드로이드·아이폰)
정확한 알람, 기기 재시작 후 실행 (안드로이드): 알림을 정시에 보내고, 폰을 다시 켰을 때 예약된 알림을 복구하기 위해
카메라·사진: AI 음식 분석 때 시스템 카메라나 사진 선택 화면을 엽니다. 안드로이드는 별도 권한을 요청하지 않고, 아이폰은 사진을 찍을 때 카메라 사용 허용을 묻습니다(사진 선택은 권한 없이 가능). 어느 경우든 사용자가 고른 사진 1장만 앱에 전달됩니다

5. 건강 관련 안내

단식시그널은 단식 습관을 기록하고 일반적인 정보를 제공하는 앱이며 의료기기가 아닙니다. 진단·치료를 대신하지 않습니다. 임신·수유 중이거나, 당뇨 등 질환이 있거나, 약을 복용 중이라면 단식 전에 의사와 상의하세요.

6. 만 14세 미만 아동

이 앱은 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 보관 및 파기

개발자는 사용자의 개인정보를 서버에 보관하지 않습니다. 기기에 저장된 정보는 앱 안의 '모든 기록 지우기' 또는 앱 삭제 시 즉시 삭제됩니다. 제3자 서비스(Google, Apple)가 처리한 정보는 각 회사의 정책에 따릅니다.

8. 이용자의 권리

사용자는 언제든 기록 삭제, 광고 ID 재설정·추적 허용 변경, 광고 개인정보 옵션 변경, 앱 삭제를 할 수 있으며 아래 연락처로 문의할 수 있습니다.

유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국 이용자는 GDPR(영국은 UK GDPR)에 따라 본인 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 제한, 이동, 처리에 대한 이의제기 권리와 동의를 언제든 철회할 권리가 있습니다. 개발자는 서버에 사용자 정보를 보관하지 않으므로 기록의 열람·삭제는 기기에서 바로 할 수 있고, 광고 동의는 더보기 화면의 광고 개인정보 옵션에서 언제든 바꾸거나 철회할 수 있습니다. AI 음식 분석으로 Google에 전송된 내용과 광고 데이터는 위 2번·3번에 적은 대로 Google이 처리합니다. 그 밖의 요청은 아래 이메일로 보내 주시면 한 달 안에 답변드리며, 거주 국가의 개인정보 감독기관에 민원을 제기할 수도 있습니다.

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 시행일과 함께 공지합니다.

Fasting Signal Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026 (EEA/UK rights added)

Core principle: your fasting, weight and meal records never leave your device. There is no sign-up, and the developer does not store or view your records on any server. The only things sent off the device are the AI food analysis you ask for, ads, payments and app security checks, all described below.

1. Information stored only on your device

Fasting records (start and end times, goal, notes), fasting schedules and routines
Weight, water intake and meal entries (food name, calories, macros)
Onboarding answers (goal, units, safety questions), app and notification settings
Character wardrobe (outfits worn or bought) and ad-free status

This information stays in the app's on-device database and settings. You can delete it at any time with More → Delete all records, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. The app does not back up your records or move them to other devices.

2. AI food analysis (only when you ask for it)

When you tap AI analysis on the Food tab and take or choose a photo, or type a food name, that photo or text is sent to Google's Gemini API (Firebase AI Logic) to estimate calories and macros. Nothing is sent unless you tap it.

What is sent: that photo or text and the answer language. Your name, contacts and fasting records are not sent.
The developer does not store the photos, text or results on any server. A result is saved to your on-device meal log only if you tap save.
This feature currently uses the free tier of the Gemini API. Under Google's Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, Google may use submitted content to improve its products and technologies, and human reviewers may read it. Please send only pictures of food, not faces, documents or personal information.
AI results are estimates, not medical advice.

3. Third-party services

3-1. Google AdMob (ads)

Free users see banner ads. Google may collect the advertising ID, device information, approximate location from IP address and ad interactions to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, the UK and similar regions a consent form is shown on first launch, and you can reopen the ad privacy options from the More screen. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. On iPhone, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether to allow tracking; if you do not allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used for ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Details: How Google uses information from partner sites

3-2. Payments — Google Play / Apple App Store (ad removal, character outfits)

Payments are handled by Google Play on Android and by the Apple App Store on iPhone. The developer never receives your card or payment details, only whether a product was bought and its product ID. You can restore earlier purchases with the app's restore purchases button.

3-3. Firebase (Google)

App Check confirms that AI requests come from the genuine app on a genuine device, using Google Play Integrity on Android and Apple App Attest on iPhone.
Remote Config downloads settings such as the AI model name, using a Firebase installation ID.
No usage analytics or crash reporting tools (such as Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics) are used.

4. Permissions

Notifications: to deliver fasting start, phase, end and refeeding reminders (Android and iPhone)
Exact alarms and run at startup (Android): to deliver reminders on time and restore them after the phone restarts
Camera and photos: for AI food analysis the app opens the system camera or photo picker. Android asks for no permission; iPhone asks for camera access when you take a photo (choosing a photo needs no permission). Either way only the one photo you choose is passed to the app
Allow tracking (iPhone): the App Tracking Transparency prompt described in 3-1. Every feature works even if you do not allow it
Internet: for AI analysis, ads, payments and Firebase checks

5. Health notice

Fasting Signal helps you track fasting habits and gives general information. It is not a medical device and does not replace diagnosis or treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or another condition, or take medication, talk to your doctor before fasting.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children under 14 (or the minimum age in your country).

7. Retention and deletion

The developer keeps no personal information on servers. On-device information is deleted immediately with "Delete all records" or when the app is uninstalled. Information processed by third-party services (Google, Apple) is handled under their own policies.

8. Your rights

You can delete your records, reset your advertising ID or change tracking permission, change ad privacy options or uninstall the app at any time, and contact us at the address below. If you are in the EEA, the UK or California, you may also have rights of access, correction and deletion under local law. Because we hold no server-side data about you, most requests are fulfilled on your device.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR (UK GDPR in the UK) gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the developer keeps no data about you on servers, you can view and delete your records directly on your device, and you can change or withdraw ad consent at any time from the ad privacy options on the More screen. Content sent to Google for AI food analysis and ad data are handled by Google as described in sections 2 and 3. For any other request, email us at the address below and we will reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
